Autoupdate Win10 PC Restart, NOT a problem for mining anymore. Come here and know why (?)
-
Hello fellow Bursters!
Have you ever been a victim of Windows 10 forced AutoUpdates that restarts your PC resulting in halting your MINING? Here's a helpful tip for people of all ages!
Let's see if we can get this pinned. (If this is helpful enough)
-
First of all, configure your miner to your desired mining pool. I will use the Blago miner for this guide since I'm using it.
-
It is usually found here:
C:\Users\your pc name\AppData\Roaming\BurstWallet\miner-burst-1.160705
- Right click on miner-burst-1.160705 and then create a shortcut.
- Right click on the shortcut you've created and click cut.
- Press Win+R or open the Run program (Right click on the Windows button located in the lowest left side of your screen then click RUN).
- Type
shell:startup
- The Startup box will open. Right click inside the box and click paste.
And you're done! CONGRATULATIONS!
Now, you won't worry if ever your computer restarts anytime and you're snoring or you're away on a family trip or just in the neighborhood taking a plunge on someone else's pool. ^_^.
I hope I have helped you guys with this simple thing. If you like it, don't be shy to upvote it.
Happy Bursting Everyone!
