Problems with mining...
-
Hi All! Had to replot but only got the first drive (C: 320gb) plotted. The other drive (E: 930 gb is not plotting correctly for some reason or another...It's taken way too long and it's always mis-matched and overlapping!) Help
-
Check the formatting of the drive. Must be NTFS.
One of your plots in the folder is at zero. Remove it from the folder and retry plotting.

@chyna88 did you set reward assingment? https://wallet.burst-team.us:8128/rewardassignment.html
-
You should also check your reward assignment ... regarding to miner output.
-
yes, I've done it many times, it keeps saying "error 1004 Reward Recipient does not match Pool's account." But on my wallet, it says "error 6 Insufficient funds" And I do have a balance!
-
Ok, I'm going to the link Blago just posted up. and how do you check my reward assignment regarding to miner output?
-
@socalguy How do I check the formatting of drive? I formatted it the quick format, was that ok? What is NTFS? (sorry, I'm very illiterate with computers...just now learning every chance I can get! ) Thanks

@chyna88 if you enter your address https://wallet.burst-team.us:8128/rewardassignment.html in first field and submit - you will see
{"rewardRecipient":"6300568795002995969","requestProcessingTime":0}
its your address. In this case you can mining as solo.
If U want mining at pool - you need set reward assingment https://wallet.burst-team.us:8128/rewardassignment.html ("Set reward recipient: Passphrase:" and "Recipient: 7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY")
After 4 blocks you will mining at pool.
-
@Blago I want to mine with the pool. I set the reward assignment Passphrase and the recipient to 7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY But it still says "Error Description, not enough funds, error code 6"... Why is that? I have a balance in my burst wallet. Thanks for helping me, Blago

@chyna88 said in Problems with mining...:
How do I check the formatting of drive
To check what file system your computer is using, first open "My Computer." Then right-click on the hard drive you want to check. In most cases, this is the C: drive. Select "Properties" from the pop-up menu. The file system (FAT32 or NTFS) should be specified near the top of the Properties window.
-
@chyna88 How come you leaving out the "BURST-" part of the address when setting the reward assignment? Try adding the "BURST" part of the address when you are setting the reward assignment.
-
Hi....Still having problems
and I do have a balance, so I don't understand why it saus not enough funds.
-
@chyna88 Download this program and it will rename the file for you and make sure it is Valid.
https://github.com/Blagodarenko/PlotsChecker/releases/download/1.0/PlotsChecker.exe
Goto the CMD Prompt >START>RUN>CMD or find it in Accessories. Right Click Run as Admin. Copy the PlotsChecker.exe to the drive in question either E: or C: I can't really tell but most likely E:
Then paste this into the CMD window or type it out. The first command is to get to the Drive. If C: type C:
E:
PlotsChecker.exe E:\Burst\plotsIt will rename or just say OK.
The Reward Assignment should go away after 4 Blocks or 1 Block and 16 Minutes. I see that all the time when I switch pools and it is confusing since it is just telling you to wait.
So don't do the switch anymore and just wait.
The BURST part of the address gets changed to a full number or ID and it looks correct.
While in the CMD prompt you can type CHKDSK E: and it will tell you if it is NTFS or FAT32. It should be NTFS for over 2TB and also the GPT not MBR

HI. I did what you told me....but it shows flashing "C:\ " I did download it to drive E:\ but it doesn't look like it , huh
-
@chyna88 Type in the E: and it should work
So at the C: prompt Type E: [ press enter ] to get to that drive... Then do the PlotsChecker.exe from there
-
@chyna88 Oh it looks like you are RePlotting though. If you Replotted you won't need to do this step. It is only to check the integrity of the Plot itself
-
Hey CryptoNick! Thanks alot...I think it's okay now! I'm just waiting for my Drive E to finish plotting! Thank you SO much for your help! ::D
-
Question.....How come it's taking SOOOO long to plot! I mean it hasn't moved in over 2 hrs. from 17 percent! Is my CPU and memory over-loading maybe?
