Deadlines and General Pool Question

  • First Question , what do the plot files do while they get read?
Second Question (it refers to when the client found a dl and then the server confirms it )
what deadline is the best deadline and how can i know what mining pool makes the most profit ?
Does it belong to the number of miners who are in there maybe like pool.burst-team.us with 1300 miners

Because im now in the NEWS Asset Mining Pool with 15miners and i want to know what is important for earning more Burst or what is more profitable

At first , thank you guys for all answers that can help me to understand this

    1. Plot files precomputed hashes, during mining you read a specific scoop # from each plot of nonces, looking for the best deadline.

    2. The best deadline is the one that is found that has the quickest time to reach it - every nonce read corresponds to a deadline, but they'll range from thousands of years to a few seconds - best one found wins.

    3. In the long run any pool should earn you the same amount. The only difference is the length of deadlines accepted and how frequently they payout. Pools like Ninja and Burst-Team only accept relatively short deadlines, and are intended for high capacity miners, the other pools accept longer deadlines and are more suitable for smallet miners.

    4. Bigger pools pay more frequently, but generally lower amounts as there will be more miners with "close" to the best time - small pools pay out less frequently, but generally more as only one miner will have the really good deadline.

  • @haitch thank you that was really well explained

@alexcrys No need to obscure your ID - no one can take advantage of it.

What Pool are you mining on? I suspect it's one with a short deadline limit.

  • @haitch ninja pool and is normal? i don't have bad read time on hdd

@alexcrys Ninja only accepts deadlines < 12 hours, unless you have 50+TB I'd suggest moving to an alternative pool

  • @haitch and what is with this < 12 hours? i have 38TB(on 4 pc) is too small capacity ? is better to have all 38TB on 1 pc ?
and what pool It is suitable for me ? thx
