AIO Wallet is not starting the Java process for the local wallet

  • EDIT: To save others trouble, if you have this same issue, look FIRST in task manager to see if javaw.exe is running! if it is not running your wallet will never load, and may indicate an issue with the java installation. Try reinstalling java before wiping your database

    I have ran the safe mode command, but the windows close out without me being able to get any info from them. Running the safemode with the /k flag lets that window stay up but only shows me that java is installed, whatever window THAT calls to is closing out the moment it opens. I have waited more than 10 min for the wallet, I have wiped the DB files and reloaded them in from the link offered in the software section of this forum. The Java process that controls the wallet just isn't starting. Any ideas what i can try, or is this now at the "reinstall AIO" stage?

    @Valareos Thanks for documentation.
    I will implement a check if javaw.exe is running at all. This is an excellent idea.
