[HELP] is my miner working correctly?

  • Hi there,
    I started mining 2 hours ago. I watched the tutorial from RiskyFire in the tutorial page and its all goes well. except, there is no Deadline on my miner.
    Im using:
    GPU plotting to plot my HDD, about 37 GB of it, just wanna test if its working and will move to 1TB HDD as soon as I figure out what's wrong.
    Burst Wallet AIO v0.3.8
    I do mining with the AIO wallet, to pool.burstcoineu

    I set up my reward assignment correctly, I think.
    so, what's wrong with my miner? Do I need to plot larger capacity?
    here is the SS
    here is the SS

  • Try change your pool to m.burst4all.com this pool is for small GB miner and let see how it is going.

    Its working fine. take @bandarfjb advice... change pool assignment to m.burst4all.com

  • @Yey_09 @bandarfjb it's for mobile user right? is it okay to mine there?

    i've got a new green text, but I still cant see my user on the historic shares.
    alt text

    I'm changing the pool right now. how long it takes for my account to appear on the historic shares on m.burst4all.com?

    EDIT: what should I put on the config file?

    {
       "Mode" : "pool",
       "Server" : "m.burst4all.com",
       "Port": 8124,

       "UpdaterAddr" : "m.burst4all.com",
       "UpdaterPort": "8124",

       "InfoAddr" : "m.burst4all.com",

       "EnableProxy": false,
       "ProxyPort": 8126,

       "Paths":["E:\Burst\plots"],
       "CacheSize" : 40000,
       "ShowMsg" : false,
       "ShowUpdates" : false,

       "Debug": true,
       "UseHDDWakeUp": true,

       "SendBestOnly": true,
       "TargetDeadline": 4000000,

       "UseFastRcv" : false,

       "UseBoost" : false,

       "WinSizeX": 76,
       "WinSizeY": 60
    }

    its not working and saying

    JSON format error (offset 261) check miner.conf
    Invalid escape character in string.
    Press any key to continue . . .

    EDIT: FIXED it by myself.

  • Try changing your TargetDeadline into 43200000
    The pool is for small miner including mobile miner, so I suppose it will be okay.

  • @bandarfjb now my burst wallet has reopened and its telling me to wait my blockchain is downloading..
    i guess the download is restarting by itself

  • You can still mine while the wallet downloads the chain. You could also use the network version. You only have 37 GB of plot. You need to plot more space to get better/more deadlines. You can still mine with 37GB but payout will be few.

  • @CryptoNick yeah, i realized that now, lol.
    my ID appear on the Historic Shares now, with 0 Total Earned.
    I'm plotting 500 GB HDD right now, will see how it goes later

  • @john8kelvin or, you can download the blockchain first to make everything easier

  • @Aldora5070 Yeah it just isn't necessary to mine so you don't have to wait and can download while you plot even.
