On-board graphics

Can someone explain to me why my cpu with onboard video (which is an amd a10-7850 k) isn't usable for plotting or mining? I mean, I basically have 8 extra cores dedicated to gpu processing, that just don't get used. its kind of frustrating.
thanks

@jhip626 maybe you need a OpenCL Driver?!
I'm not sure if this is the right one or it even might be integrated in to Catalist!? I dont own any AMD.....
Intel HD.... integrated GPU works. But for plotting its to slow!-/

How have you tried to use it? Please be specific
Yesterday I actually got some help on discord in using the gpu plotter. it took a while but once I got it setup, it was actually slower than the cpu! can you explain that one?
lol

On board graphics are generally unsuitable for plotting or mining. Your CPU is likely much better for both.
What onboard graphics chip do you have?
-
how about getting the gpu plotter to list it to define which device id's to assign to plotting / mining

ran turboplotter on this chip it works but I recommend 1tb plots as it locks up sometimes the codename for the built in gpu is Spectre btw.,. according to AMD these chips are know to do so when all compute cores are at maximum

Ran turboplotter on a xeon dual cpu 5650 . scheduled to plot 8TB plot in 127 hours. so far 56 hours left and running strong.
I like this plotter nice work. This coin continues to grow with the changes.
