How do I obtain a new miner's public key?
I've been trying for the past couple of days to help out new miners who need a burst or 2. However, every time I try to send something, I get an error message that I did not enter the public key.
Where do I get their public key? Or, as usual, I screwed something else up?
Let me know. I still have a thick skin :).
@vmantilla You shouldn't need their public key - are you transferring from wallet or an Exchange? Don't do it from an exchange, it'll error.
I was doing it from my wallet.
All help is useful. Thanks in advance.
@vmantilla I've never seen that message from the local wallet - what version are you on ?

Getting same message saying no public key specified when I tried to send a few BURST to a newbie.
Im in online wallet AIO current version. I transfered from Poloniex to my wallet no problem. First try to send BURST to another user and I get that error and no transaction. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance.

@vmantilla Consider updating to v0.3.9.7 then try again: https://github.com/dawallet/burstwindowswallet/archive/master.zip
Latest build is 0.3.9.7.
If you have a local wallet, simply transfer the two files to /burst_db inside the folder and overwrite them if needed.
Start up the wallet, select the local wallet, give it a few to fully sync up, then you should be fine.
If that doesn't help at all:
Make sure you are hitting the button in the top-right corner that says "Send BURST". Then put their BURST ID in, not their public key. (BURST ID: BURST-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX) (Public key: basically just a bunch of numbers)
If it still doesn't work. Try using this online wallet: https://burstwallet.arihanc.com:8125/index.html
This wallet is very fast to load and stuff. I use this online wallet myself.
Thank you, sir.
