current burst client for windows

for some reason it has stopped letting me start the online wallet for any of my accounts and hangs up on downloading the blockchain so it has become unusable.
edit: i checked and i was using the previous version. it would be nice if there was some in app heads up on new releases

@mouse_rr Have been an Announcement on the forum... In the Client i guess that's not have been an announcement because it's not stable yet?!

@mouse_rr The new core version 1.2.4 has some bugs and stuck issues ... bugfixes get currenly tested, to ensure that does not happen again. On issues please use 1.2.3 again, until a update is out. Painfully it may not be possible to use a 1.2.4 burst_db for 1.2.3, so you have to re-download or sync it.

@luxe ok ... where would i find the correct db? i let the local wallet work since i made this post yesterday and the blockchain is still downloading.

@Blago thanks but it seems that whatever change was made to the v0.3.1 build has totally hosed it for my system, i can get the miner to run but the 'online wallet' has been trying to sync for the last 5 min after sitting grinding away there for 3min after i put in my pass and trying to switch between the local wallet and the online wallet locks the whole thing up. going to try reverting back the the previous build

@mouse_rr I have been having good luck with ver 0.2.8 I changed pools 3 times with no problem.

a new problem has developed and now im not being allowed to mine because the client has blown out my pool reward assignment and wont fix it no matter how i try ... i am not going to keep fighting this much longer especially if fixing the problem is going to keep costing me when it isnt my fault in the first place
after nearly 30min it finally sorted out the reward thing. this is getting rather frustrating

@mouse_rr You set the reward once, and that's it until you decide to change pool. It basically a one time thing to set you award.
To do the change: goto https://wallet.burst-team.us/rewardassignment.html - ignore the first two fields, put your passphrase in the third and BURST-7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY (or what ever pool you want) in the fourth and hit submit. You should get 4 or 5 lines of incomprehensible codes back/ Wait four blocks, then you're good to go.
That assignment address for pool.burstcoin.eu. To mine on that pool, where the list of names are, just simply type pool.burstcoin.eu, then start mining.

from the start of this issue till now it has been rather frustrating. my miner isnt showing up in the miner list for http://pool.burst-team.us/ and the deadline scans went from finding a deadline in every scan to nothing for hours on end, i dont know if that is normal or not but combined with the lack of showing on the list im thinking it is hosed and i may need to move on

Move your miner over to pool.burstcoin.eu and you'll be back to getting a DL most rounds.

@haitch didnt see the announcement, havent been on the machine running things but made the jump as per a previous rec and it started working again so iv been letting it run. new problem with the local wallet giving me this msg all day >~.~<
Your local wallet hasn't started yet. It can take up to 10 minutes to start up. Try it again later.
If your local wallet doesn't start at all, you have probably no Java installed!

and then restart the Burst Client.

all the changes in the last week or so have made it rather pointless for me to keep bothering with this ... while the burst-team pool was running before the change i was making reasonable return. now im not making anything after following all the suggestions here ... in 24hrs iv made less than 50 while the original set i made over 200 every few hours ... why should i keep doing this if this is the best i can get after restructuring?

@mouse_rr Maybe you should think that restructing still happening and some people is not in the right place yet... for me the winning rates still approximately the same but i'm with 1.2TB, so if you are with more i suppose the pool is not with all the miners that is supposed to...

@gpedro i checked, prior to making my previous post i was bringing in 300+ every few hours before whatever restructuring was done and now im not making enough to justify continuing this

@mouse_rr how big is your plot? you are at pool.burstcoin.eu right?
Reestructing still happening... pool.burstcoin.eu this morning have 75 miners, now have 95, with this netDiff (pool plot size) increments, pool will win more blocks. for now we are not winning a lot of blocks but when we win the reward is bigger...
And my DeadLines as reduced a lot since this restructing so i'm guessing it was good for the network. Before i had a lot of DeadLines bigger than 2 months and now the biggest i see is about 30 to 40 days. You have to take a week or so for jump into conclusions but i think for now that with this changes we're a lot better!
