0-100.burst-team.us update

  • admin

    The cloudflare issue seems to be resolved, the pool should be accessible from anywhere.

    To increase the relevance of small miners, the pool deadline has been expanded to 4 months.

    Overall stat:

    0 - 100% current/historic payments. ie - Payout only on historic share.
    120 day Deadlines accepted.
    500 Burst/30 Days payout period - thresholds for being paid out.
    30 days - historic shares taken into consideration.

  • i think you accidentally made it for longer, although it is pretty cool seeing all the blue and green 0_1504150260355_c01a65b5-a0c6-4388-893b-1896bf188a67-image.png

    @Jaxblack Hmmm.... might have an extra 0 in the deadline, but the pool showing no stress, so I'll leave it for now. current deadline, is probably around 3.5 years or so .....

  • @haitch sorry, but from AS197071 mining still does not work, webpage ist OK.

    $ bin/mine_pool_all_30d  http://0-100.burst-team.us:8080 plots/2 plots/2b
    Using 0-100.burst-team.us port 8080
    Could not get mining info from Node. Will retry..
    Could not get mining info from Node. Will retry..

  • Please check now. Since some minutes it is working for me.

  • Now I have the same error. I can not connect.

  • @haitch I dumped the traffic when my dcct-miner connects to your pool;

    $ bin/mine_pool_all_30d  "http://0-100-pool.burst-team.us:8080" plots/

    It seems that the http exchange originating from dcct is "too minimal", as the error returned is "Direct IP access not allowed - A valid Host header must be supplied to reach the desired website.".

    So, I'll try to change the code - time to learn a new language, I guess.

  • it was working this afternoon then again the error but this time, worst

  • Oh my god it's 4 months now?!? Why so long? Takes far to long to receive a descent payout. It was already too long at 1 month

  • @Zaziki same here 😕

    Had a hiccup - it was still mining, display was broken. Fixed now.

    OP says 30 Days, are we really at 120 Days now? I still believe that in a fast moving Crypto World 30 Days is way too long and the 2 Days /5 Days Max is more than enough to ensure that the income is fair and smoothed.

  • @RichBC Well, there's been a lot of discussion on why a very long historic share (and a zero blockfinder reward) might be a good thing. Just regard this as an experiment, you don't have to mine there. 8))

    Jesus really doubling down on the pool concept aintcha. Ahh well I like it... I am getting spammed with

    07:32:31 [10670879690697142258] received DL:    30756571 {x.x.x.x}
    07:32:31 [10670879690697142258] sent confirmation to x.x.x.x
    07:32:31 [10670879690697142258] 30756571 > 2333613  discarded

    But that is my problem. ATM you seem to have everybody cruising along regardless of size. The only ones that seem to be struggling are the <1tb guys the 40 year deadline should help them out.

    PS everybody in this thread seems to be confusing 4 month deadline limit with 4 month historic..

    4 month deadline limit = you submit more nonces.

    4 month historic = those nonces are used to calculate your share for 4 months.

  • @haitch, the pool is still behind by one block...Burstcoin Network shows everyone on 711; we are on 710.

    EDIT...looks OK now. Sorry.

    Just to repeat, are we really on 120 Days as your post shows?

    Also to say that I am very happy with the 0 -100 but from the time I have spent on the new v3 ninja pools which have a 500 Block Historic Share I have found that time which is about a 1 1/2 Days to be more than enough to smooth the payouts.

    However you are quite right I do not have to and am now not mining there, partially because 30 Days is way too long to build to a full share and partially because the Pool has so far not had a high enough up time.

  • Personally, I really like this pool. It's a shame we had the site down and lost so many of the miners who were giving it a try.

    Round 2 has been up (more or less) for a while now, yet we have only kept / re-acquired 43 miners.

    I wonder if the pool could use an official re-announcement on the forums to basically reiterate the concept and say "Hey, we're here again! Come give us a try"

    It would be nice to see the miner numbers get into the three digit range soon.

    Miners vote with their feet. number one requirement has to be high availability and high responsiveness to submissions. Any small gains that can be had from the style of any particular pool are very rapidly thrown away if the pool is down or submissions are not confirmed.

    So confidence now needs to be rebuilt and then Miners will return.
