Miner not working?

  • I am new to burst and think I have everything set up. I am using the AIO app and started the miner. After two days, the window that the miner opened when I started the miner says only this:

    BURST miner, v1.170820_AVX
Programming: dcct (Linux) & Blago (Windows)
CPU support: AES SSE SSE2 SSE3 SSE4.2 AVX
    GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz [4 cores]
    RAM: 8192 Mb

and that is it. After I started the miner, the wallet window displayed this:

    {"signatureHash":"f4da320e5df11fe604a5872f5adb89691a40d59c7ebaa0450f2751e3ad0490f0","unsignedTransactionBytes":"141036e3ca05a00526df2409abe113f43bf028b7c2d8df1b36919cdea016dab76ec08da246ec6d604e219ad6ff4ca276000000000000000000e1f50500000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001621060073a6a8b527f6aabc01","transactionJSON":{"senderPublicKey":"26df2409abe113f43bf028b7c2d8df1b36919cdea016dab76ec08da246ec6d60","signature":"a8cdcfee1658132885320efdf38b37ba633407af17bd67bd7c8f2132ca30a00e98c1b4214a7eb356a24df7dd57ffd18b26df45ef6aa12a83b1790cb4111dc63d","feeNQT":"100000000","type":20,"fullHash":"a5ca1d5c37510364416d534ecb70c21a861ba7e56847f00e3cbb2c20f3745c0d","version":1,"ecBlockId":"13594949075583149683","signatureHash":"f4da320e5df11fe604a5872f5adb89691a40d59c7ebaa0450f2751e3ad0490f0","attachment":{"version.RewardRecipientAssignment":1},"senderRS":"BURST-WZK8-9494-RGL9-5RM2T","subtype":0,"amountNQT":"0","sender":"4360178474035346982","recipientRS":"BURST-NACG-ZZDB-BHX7-9ELAF","recipient":"8548479704403419470","ecBlockHeight":401686,"deadline":1440,"transaction":"7206693126933432997","timestamp":97182518,"height":2147483647},"broadcasted":true,"requestProcessingTime":29,"transactionBytes":"141036e3ca05a00526df2409abe113f43bf028b7c2d8df1b36919cdea016dab76ec08da246ec6d604e219ad6ff4ca276000000000000000000e1f505000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000a8cdcfee1658132885320efdf38b37ba633407af17bd67bd7c8f2132ca30a00e98c1b4214a7eb356a24df7dd57ffd18b26df45ef6aa12a83b1790cb4111dc63d000000001621060073a6a8b527f6aabc01","fullHash":"a5ca1d5c37510364416d534ecb70c21a861ba7e56847f00e3cbb2c20f3745c0d","transaction":"7206693126933432997"}

but that does not mean that much to me. I tried to mine in pool.burstcoin.sk, thinking that was the correct size for my 23T. There is a :8124 after the pool choice.

Can anyone help me figure out why I am not mining? Thanks.

  • I am new to Burst and would like to start mining, unfortunately I have the same problem. I already did the Reward Recipient Assignment, but somehow when I press start mining nothing is happening. My window is just saying:

    BURST miner, v1.170820_AVX2
Programming: dcct (Linux) & Blago (Windows)
CPU support: AES SSE SSE2 SSE3 SSE4.2 AVX AVX2 [recomend use AVX
    2]
    GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz [8 cores]
    RAM: 8192 Mb

  • Can you post your miner config file?

  • @Flouter wrong pool address/port or pool not accessible now

  • @Blago I just found out that the recipient address of pool.burstcoin.eu in the wallet client is incorrect. The address should be BURST-9UXJ-H8LW-5Q7X-A7WC2 instead of BURST-7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY. I changed it now and hopefully it will solve the problem.

@Flouter You'll also need to change the port to 8080 for .EU

  • @haitch Oh, it seems like it's working after changing the recipient address and the port to 8080! Underneath it's now showing:

    Pool address pool.burstcoin.eu (ip 104.27.176.173:8080)
    Updater address pool.burstcoin.eu (ip 104.27.176.173:8080)
    Using plots:
    D:\Burst\plots files: 1 size: 500 Gb
    TOTAL: 500 Gb

    04:55:02 New block 404646, baseTarget 166774, netDiff 109880 Tb
    04:55:04 Thread "D:\Burst\plots" @ 1.1 sec (110.8 MB/s) CPU 70.54%

Thanks a lot all you three for your incredibly quick replies. Hopefully everything is fixed now!
