plotting blunder?
-
I am in the middle, 69%, of plotting a 6tb HDD, I mistakenly unplugged the usb for just a second and plugged it back in right away as I realized my mistake, will this stop the plotter? do I need to start again? the plotter appears to be running as it was before this happened but it has taken days to get this far and If i need to start over, well, the sooner the better. Thanks for any help...

Probably you got lucky. Most of the time the plotter is filling the RAM, not the disk.
-
Thank you, I hope I got lucky

@2late4asic open your task manager and see if the usage of the wplotgenerator switch repeatedly between CPU usage and Disk usage... If so you are ok, if it idles just consuming RAM and 0%CPU and =%of disk you're damned!

@gpedro - if the plotter did get busted, goto the Software Category, and down load Blago's PlotChecker, it'll fix your busted plot so you don't need to start from the beginning.

@haitch even if the file says bytes?
-
@gpedro Not sure I understand the question, but the plot checker will trim off any partiall nonces, then rename the file to match the contents.

and show new size in bytes
