I have been trying unsuccessfully to obtain one burst so I can edit reward recipient. Please help! Thank you, Russell. My burst wallet address is BURST-PY8T-XGRN-7ZEJ-93NQU
-
-
@haitch I did that and made the mistake of trying to change my name and wasted my 1 burst on that. The faucet won't let me get another burst.
-
@ruskel5070 Apparently you didn't set your name properly. The Burst Explorer shows you with a balance of 1 coin and no name set.
-
@haitch My account balance says 0
-
Account details show balance of 1 burst with available balance of 0 burst

@ruskel5070 https://blocks.fastpool.info/address/9032674851903174873
And the Wallet says you have no public key, ergo never had an outgoing transaction. Is the wallet you used to set it fully synced ?
-
@haitch I am not downloading the blockchain if that is what your asking. I already let it sit while it downloaded.
-
@ruskel5070 Login to one of the online wallets - eg https://wallet1.burst-team.us:2083 and check your balance there, and verify that the account address matches. The explorer says you've not spent the Burst you've received, and the wallets see you as not having a public address, so never having made an out going transaction.

@haitch I shows me having an account balance of 1 !!! I am going to try to use it to set my reward recipient. Thanks I will let you know how it goes.
-
@haitch it says Recipient account does not have public key. so should i send a burst to somebody to create the public key? and then try to set my reward recipient or can i send you a burst to get my key and then you can send me one back to set the reward?
-
@haitch I now have a public key. Do I still need to set my reward recipient?
-
@ruskel5070 You used the 1 to set a name .... sent you 1 to set reward recipient.
-
@haitch Since it cost a burst to send me a burst I will repay you with 2 bursts as I only see that as fair. Thank you!
-
@ruskel5070 Pay it forward - help out someone else starting out.
-
@haitch Will do. Thank you again for the help as well as the burst.
