No Green confirmed DL's . . . something I'm doing wrong?
-
Hey everyone, I am new to Burstcoin mining and I just got my miner configured today. I am wondering, how much does CPU speed affect Burstcoin mining? I have a pretty slow CPU, (Celeron G3930). Is my mining going to be grossly effected by this?
Any good articles on getting an ideal hardware set-up to mine Burst?

@meni-menindorf , how long does it take to scan all your drives? under a minute is good.
-
Looks like my drives are scanning in about 30 seconds. But still no green lines. . . I've seen one green line so far, out of many many blocks~
-
@meni-menindorf with that size you are going to have difficulty getting deadlines. the net difficulty is so high that it will take you weeksss to earn in that size, well it depends on what pool you are on.
-
you just need to switch to a pool that accepts long deadlines, the pool you are on must only be accepting short deadlines

Accepts around 4 month deadlines, you may want to try switching pools

i wont suggest you to join 0-100 with your plot size, in 0-100 if you reached 500 burst or above it will pay you, until then it will hold your burst for a month then pays you for your balance.
I would suggest you to look for other pool that accept longer deadlines but paying daily. You are just starting and i know you want to see burst flowing even in small amounts. But if you dont mind waiting then you can join 0-100
pool list here.

i believe its 14 days or 500, but i still get your drift.
-
@progryu009gaijin On the plot size, expected daily earnings will be about the cost of sending of the earnings - so at best he gets dust. 0-100 may be an infrequent payer, but it takes the least of your income in sending fees.
-
@haitch i can see your point too cuz i mine kinda long, im just considering the feeling when you first start mining. seeing no coins on your wallet after days of days of mining is kinda discouraging when you are just starting. Well it is all up to him im just replying based on my experience.

This is looking way better! I can even see my account name (Miner's Revolution Inc.) come-up for shares contributed on http://0-100.burst-team.us:8080/ ~Very cool!
Thank you Prog and Jax.
MrWho, I tried Burstneon, but for some reason my mining software would not function when set to this pool~ ? !
