Passphase for wrong account message. please Help me. tHANKS!

  • Re: Burst Newbies Walkthrough - A must-read (?) for Beginners
    I cant seem to get the correct Passphrase set up. I'm running windows 10 and have went with the Software bundle. I made a passphase.txt file under the miner folder but cant seem to get past this. Ive already wasted 5 Burst trying to start mining. I'm desperate for ideas now. Thanks!

  • @bitcon415 ok are you getting an error wile mining ? or are you having issues logging into your wallet ? sorry pass phrase can mean several things

  • @gibsalot I'm G

  • I'm Getting a message when mining that says passphase is for wrong account. They are reffering to the Passphase I made a the .txt file for correct?

  • @bitcon415 are you trying to solo mine or pool mine ?

  • if you are trying to pool mine then you need to delete that pass phrase.txt file ... find the pool you want to mine on , the error is because you need to set the reward assinment for that pool

  • @gibsalot Pool**Updater address pool.burstcoin.ro (ip 104.28.16.30:8080)

    Any ideas?
    I used the Qbundle and went with a prescribed pool that matched my Plot Size. I switched to the online wallet instead of the desktop wallet to see if that would work but notta.
    I'm all out of Burst to reconfig again too. I'm challenged! LOL!
    Thank you for helping me!

  • @bitcon415 wallet is indiferant to mine you dont even need a working wallet to mine on a pool as long as you know your wallets numerical address when creating plots do me a favor find your plot file and look at the first number in the file name .. then open your wallet in top left hand corner of wallet right click on your address and copy numeric address past it in notepad and see if that number matches the first number in your plot files name

  • my guess is your gona need to re plot i can see in the screen shoot it says

    20:48:09 [ 0] found DL: 4057077
    20:48:09 [ 0] sent DL: 4057077 46d 22:57:57
    {"result":"Passphrase is for a different account","requestProcessingTime":1}

    that [0] right befor found should be a long number witch is the numerical account number like mine

    Progress is slow but happening.
