Plotted first 8TB and ready to go...

  • Hi all,

    Can someone help me out with some coin to start... I have 8TB ready to go and the second drive should be done tomorrow.

    I have a Windows batch file to share that plots 8 TB in 2 days on my fast machine using 2 x 256 GB SSD drives if anyone is interested. It's ugly code but works!

    @setlocal
    cd /d %~dp0
    set "nonces=950000"
    set "user_id= <your numerical id>"
    set "target_drive=g:\burst"
    set "file_path=i:\plots"
    set "files=*.*"

    set "start_nonce=0"
    start /wait XPlotter_avx.exe -id %user_id% -sn %start_nonce% -n %nonces% -t 7 -path %file_path% -mem 4G
    start move %file_path%%files% %target_drive%
    set "file_path=h:\plots"

    set "start_nonce=1000000"
    start /wait XPlotter_avx.exe -id %user_id% -sn %start_nonce% -n %nonces% -t 7 -path %file_path% -mem 4G
    start move %file_path%%files% %target_drive%
    set "file_path=i:\plots"

    Repeat the last two blocks adding 1000000 to start_nonces. Drives h and i are the SSDs and g is the 8TB usb drive. The destination folders need to be created before starting. 8 TB takes 32 files of 240 Gb or so. First drive 0-31000000, second 32000000-63000000, etc.
