Cheap WD USB Drives.
Copied from techreport.com:
Not all the storage offers involve fancy NAND flash, though. Deals on spinning-rust storage devices are as hot as ever. The first such drive we have today is the Western Digital Elements 6 TB external drive. This simple-but-steady spinner is going for a mere $109 at Newegg if you use the code EMCXPTWE3 (you need to be a newsletter subscriber). That works out to just $18.17 a terabyte—probably the lowest such value I ever typed here.
If you happen to need just a little more storage space in a single external drive, how about the Seagate Backup Plus Hub 8 TB? This spiffy drive has a couple of USB 3.0 ports, possibly saving you the annoyance of having to acquire a USB hub. You can get this unit for just $146.99 from Newegg if you use the promo code EMCPTEW39. If you're following along, that's $18.38 a terabyte.

Thanks for the heads up..but the code would work for my email addresses as i'm a newsletter subscriber too....On the 8TB I use the 2 usb ports for powering a fan and RPi3. The little steel fan blows on 5 external drives to keep them cool

$18.38 USD / TB?

@goodplanets $/TB is a rough measure of how good a deal to buy a certain hard drive.
$146.00 / 8 TB = $18.38 / TB

SEAGATE 8TB-149.99$ works well
I got one from AMAZON
@kalibc Yea! I have 4 SeaGate 8 TB @ about $150.00 US $. The oldest one is several years old and still works fine. I am now using Turbo Plotter 9000 to start now files for BurstNeon.com. Teace be with you all. Twin Judge.
I have used HP and Toshiba external drives over the years, none have done as well as Seagate. Cheap vs inexpensive? your Choice.

@TwinJudge do you mean you're replotting in order to change pools? Because you don't need to do that!
I was getting overtime error messages, I had changed accounts and the files would not do right. I am saying what happened. Please understand me, I did some dumb things, I just did what I needed to get files to get DL's.
In a perfect world, smart or experienced people would not do what I felt I had to do.
Have a nice day, but understand. Peace be with you. Twin Judge.
My other thoughts are my own.

Don't worry about it, I must have plotted drives 3 times over trying to get it right when I was starting out. If you changed accounts, you would need to replot.
@tinycoins Thanks for the info. Now the hard part is patience in weeks of waiting for the 20 TB files to be plotted. I was up to about 20 burst coin per day with another pool, then it had a DNS service meltdown. Such is life. Peace. Twin Judge.
