    • RE: How to know the miner is working and success mining?

looks like the miner is working. I think that pool only pays out after you hit 100 burst. Not 100% on that.

    • RE: How to start mining on Ubuntu

      Hello,
I just finished setting up a miner on Ubuntu 16.04. This is what i did....
      software:
plotter- get dcct, extract the files then open a terminal from within the folder and type
      make
      then hit enter
      https://github.com/Mirkic7

      also get
      dcct-gui
      https://github.com/kartojal
same thing here extract files open terminal from with in file run make then read the read me file, you have to move 6 things from the dcct folder to the dcct-gui folder.
Then from with the dcct-gui folder run
      bash dcct-gui
set up your plots and stuff. Never had any luck with the miner in the gui.

miner- I've had lots of luck with CreepMiner
      https://github.com/Creepsky/creepMiner

extract the file but then run sudo su THEN run sh ./install-poco.sh from the file (this take a while)
      Then run make
Go into the bin file and change the mining.config file to point to your plot and point to your pool.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

      Good luck

    • Help mining on Linux

      Hello,
I’m having some issues with mining on Linux. Plotting using the mdcct with dcct-gui software from the burst software page goes okay. Mining is where I run into trouble. In the dcct-gui when I select mine burst and put in the pool then point to my plot I get
xterm: Can’t execvp dcct-mine: No such file or directory

With the dcct-gui anytime I do something in the gui, the terminal put up
Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged

I’ve tried using burst-miner-r4 to mine but I get the error
      {“errorCode”:1007,”errorDescription”:”The deadline for your nonce is REALLY BAD: 3 months, 13 days, 17 hours, 17 min,25 secs -wrong block? Are your plot files corrupted?”}
      over and over again.
I’ve tried redoing the plots many times, and optimizing.

      Ubuntu 16.04 VM on proxmox
      plots are 200GB

      Thanks!!

    • RE: Reward Assignment problems

what size are your plots? you might need to switch pools. Checkout the recommended plot size for the pools.

    • RE: Reward Assignment problems

I think you have to wait 4 blocks or 15min before you can change reward assignments.

    • RE: NOT ABLE TO "SET REWARD ASSIGNMENT" ON A POOL SITE

      127.0.0.1 is a loopback address,

I think you are supposed to change the reward assignment from within the burst wallet software, not the webpage. At least that is how I do it.
