RE: How to simultaneously mine Burst and BTCHD
did you put your api-key from hdpool into the related config ?
after setting everything up properly - of course "DL Submitting" should show as "normal"
also pay a "visit" to funds -> Earning summary .. do you see any undistributed earnings ? .. HDPool only pays out once a day at 11:00 (GMT+8h) .. so depending on your home .. could be at an unexpected time
If I were you - I'd try to minimize influence -factors .. download a fresh copy of hdminer.zip from hdpool , extract to an empty directory, set that up .. drives , api-key .. run hdminer .. see if that yields any change ...
As for the space difference ... 87.3 TB as in 1024 GB .. is 89.4 TiB (= 1000 GB) so both mean the same number ..

RE: Blago miner error ''requestProcessingTime : 0, result : Passphrase is for different account''
I suggest a 0-100 pool up to around 40...50 TB then maybe a 50-50 ...
the network difficulty is growing

RE: Burst transfer not hitting my account
@markvroon said in Burst transfer not hitting my account:

check especially the given burst-address (assume BURST- infront of the recipient )
Recipient 52JR-3G3D-B994-DKV7W
(empty name)I would also pay attention that the recipient account doesnt have a public key YET ... did you register your burst-address by setting a pool as reward recipient or setting up an account name ?

RE: Blago miner error ''requestProcessingTime : 0, result : Passphrase is for different account''
-
thats a regular .. reward recipient change takes several blocks - depending on the tutorial you follow up to some hours (~10h)
-
as far as I have read, blago has a little problem with fastblocks .
-
the other deadlines in your screen look "normal" .. so I wouldnt care too much ...
-
may I ask what your total plot-size is - whether you are able to really mine blocks is a competition with the other miners, and your total plot--size plays a big role next to some luck
I'm mining with 23 TB - and managed a single block in some months that I'm part of the "party"

RE: Qbundle update for BRS 2.3.0
roughly after 10 days with the new wallet version of qbundle .. it stopped working for me
When I launch burstwallet.exe - its announcing "starting wallet" - but nothing else happens .. and of course it doesnt pull through ...
Any clues ?
What did I try:
- tested for database process - works
using the credentials from qbundle -> Edit-> Settings -> Database .. its connecting to the server and accepting sql-requests - no wallet already running
- as far as I can see no processes use the same resources
- tested for database process - works
-
RE: Qbundle update for BRS 2.3.0
thanks for info @haitch
but its still broken ...
in the wallet I cant access "Assets" tab - but luckily in the web interface it works
And why does this update require manual work ? Application manager kicks in AFTER manual update and can install the wallet 2.3.0 ... should offer both updates without manual copy

was able to resolve most issues together with the developer ...

RE: Burst and BHD Dual Mining.
uhm .. where do I start - I may have read that entire archon thing wrong ...
Its making the whole process more complicated instead of simplifying it .. I had hoped I have now ONE TOOL to replace 2 .. now I have 4 tools ??? .. wtf ????Please come again with ways to help - not complicate things
archon + scavenger + hdpool + hdproxy .- which I never wanted/needed ?
-
RE: Burst and BHD Dual Mining.
no proxy .. hdminer and scavenger OR blago ..
miner.conf of HD Miner
{ "Mode" : "pool", "Server" : "hdminer.hdpool.com", "Port": 60100, "UpdaterAddr" : "hdminer.hdpool.com", "UpdaterPort": "60100", "InfoAddr" : "localhost", "InfoPort": "60100", "EnableProxy": false, "ProxyPort": 8126, "Paths": [ "D:\\Ablage\\QBundle2.5.0_final\\Plots", "V:\\Ablage\\QBundle\\Plots", "W:\\Ablage\\QBundle\\Plots", "T:\\Ablage\\QBundle\\Plots", "U:\\Ablage\\QBundle\\Plots", "F:\\Ablage\\QBundle\\Plots" ], "CacheSize" : 65536, "CacheSize2" : 512000, "Debug": true, "UseHDDWakeUp": true, "TargetDeadline": 1000000000, "SendInterval": 100, "UpdateInterval": 950, "UseLog" : true, "ShowWinner" : false, "UseBoost" : false, "WinSizeX": 76, "WinSizeY": 60, "POC2StartBlock":0, "POC2StartBlock":0, "LinkPoint": "hdminer.hdpool.com", "MinerName": "beliar275", "AccountKey": "for my eyes only ^^ " }
I'm waiting for the "Archon" tool you mentioned to be testing ... scavenger uses far less resources compared to blago and using it for both BHD and burst would be my favorite

RE: Burst and BHD Dual Mining.
@haitch
nope.. burst mining I see every "height" number - some times with multiple nonces (up to 6 nonces per "height) ..
at least in blago and scavenger ..I'll keep looking, found different numbers for bhd when looking in the hd-miner
there I see every "height" again with up to 6 and more mining resultsMaybe in my above post it excluded too slow results which exceeded their deadline although they tell of a deadline of 100 000 000

RE: How to simultaneously mine Burst and BTCHD
check "Funds" page - upper part "Expected earnings" - there should appear lines that show that you successfully took part in the mining efforts
-
RE: Burst and BHD Dual Mining.
Here's another question - I've noticed that my BHD mining has gaps in the covered "numbers" .. Is that due to dual mining or is that normal ? or just a possible configuration error on my side ?
for example I see "current mined block"
1 145919 2019-03-01 16:35:24 2 145916 2019-03-01 16:14:59 3 145901 2019-03-01 14:53:59 4 145897 2019-03-01 14:16:19
this 1h21m "gap" between 2 and 3 makes me wonder what happened - it looks to me like I missed out 15 blocks

RE: Burst and BHD Dual Mining.
adding insult to injury about the slow payout - you select withdraw - and then an inviting "Withdraw" button appears - which made it seem like I can confirm it myself - only that this "Withdraw" is a Cancel ...
Hope its a translation issue - as both pools seem to have chinese roots -
RE: Burst and BHD Dual Mining.
I switched meanwhile over to blago - to ease the "conflicts" between burstcoin mining and bhd mining ...
But you are right, it doesnt need the passphrase - I removed it now.But can you (maybe) help me on another matter - the hdpool site says (on the "Funds" page) - about "Earned in promotion" - which is always 0 for me - Can you say something about it? - What is it? - How would I be able to get it? Or should I just ignore it for now?
Also I need to say that withdraws take forever - I ordered my first withdraw yesterday and it took them almost a full day to process - is that the regular "speed" ?
-
RE: Burst and BHD Dual Mining.
I'm affraid that line is the ONLY method to tell scavenger about your account key ...
I've used scavenger for 2 months and experienced nothing in that regard

RE: How to simultaneously mine Burst and BTCHD
hmm..
{ "Mode" : "pool", "Server" : "hdminer.hdpool.com", "Port": 60100, "UpdaterAddr" : "hdminer.hdpool.com", "UpdaterPort": "60100", "InfoAddr" : "localhost", "InfoPort": "60100", "EnableProxy": false, "ProxyPort": 8126,
???

RE: How to simultaneously mine Burst and BTCHD
@Energy - I'd try the hdminer (new version from february 2019) .. the config of this one is pretty similar to blago
if I may ask .. did you do all the steps haitch described for me in his posts ?
its pretty straight forward
in hdpool - does it say in the binding section "valid" ?
what says the "Miners" page ?
What in the "Funds" page ?took a couple of days before it actually worked for me too .. but after binding said valid I finally received my first funds .
HDPool only transfers mined funds after 24 hours ( one transaction per calendar day) when it works
but if you actually mine - you can see your results in the Funds page in the upper part, listed time-sorted (descending)Oh - and the website seems to use chinese time which runs 7 hours ahead of my local middle european time (or 8 hours ahead of GMT)
